Over the hump so to speak

There is only one thing good about when the girls get their shots...they sleep through the gross feeling, rather than stay awake cranky and ready to scream.

They are currently 7 1/2 months old (5 1/2 adjusted).

They are still the same amount apart in weight and height:
Oakley 19lbs 27in
Kenzington 18lbs 26 1/2in

Oakley has her two bottom front teeth in, while Kenzington has one in and the other just starting to pop.

(I know blurry pictures and the lighting is blah, but you try working with wiggle worms!)

Both can sit up unassisted for a minute, until toppling over without hesitation.  Both can roll from front to back.
Oakley is working on her rolling from back to front, that darn shoulder of hers gets in the way like an iceberg.  While Kenzington seems to be a bit lazy and a bit behind her sister, not so much attempting to roll unless by accident.
They each are talking up storms and saying things that sound like words but we know aren't. :)
Both when being held by us with look at us and then grab our faces and smile or try to eat our chins.  Probably one of the cutest things I've ever witnessed!

They are starting to get to the point where they realize strangers are strangers and they aren't sure if they like them.  STRANGER DANGER!

We will be getting their pictures done on Friday instead of Wednesday due to the funeral and I'm hoping they are feeling chipper for the 9:30am call!  :)

I can't believe it's been over half a year since they've been with us. (I'm sure I say that too much)  It's just too much and I still sometimes look at them, jaw dropped, and think..."Two?!"

  1. Wow Heather, they are getting crazy big. Stranger danger, that is an interesting time. They will be attached to your hip from here on out. Ready for that? So are you going to the funeral for Chris and Betty's little guy Wednesday? If you are, you should maybe facebook message me. I check that more. I was thinking about going.
