*****In 1221 Genghis Khan killed 1,748,000 people at Nishapur in one hour.*****
So, wow, this weekend was just amazing! It was our 1yr anniversary on top of Memorial Day, so we had a 3 1/2 day weekend. We decided to take a trip down to see my brother in Vegas, and to spend time at a nice hotel for our Anniversary.
We left Friday night around 9pm our time, getting us there around 4:30am. :) It wasn't SO bad, I slept like a rock that's for sure. We ended up having to crash on my brothers futon until around 8am when he left for work, then spent most the day sleeping in his room. Where it was much cooler, darker, and quieter. We slept till probably 2pm. Got up and got a hotel room for the rest of the weekend. It was a beautiful room, that we ended up upgrading to a suite on our last day, which I might add had the prefect view of the strip. We spent most of the weekend hanging out by the pool in my brothers backyard, eating at great restaurants, but the most important just relaxing. Sunday night we ate at a club/restaurant called Ra. It was a sushi place just off the strip. The music was great, the food was drool worthy and the sake was even better. After that we ended up bowling down by our hotel, where I of course schooled both of the boys!
The next day we just relaxed, went shooting out in the desert and eventually of course had to head home.
The drive was horrible, the seats in our P.O.S. car were killing my back the entire way. On top of me being super tired, and trying to sleep. I couldn't.
I was excited to get home though. It's nice to be able to sleep in your own bed, and use your own things. Although who is ever excited about going back to work? I know I wasn't, and further proved my point by the fact it was busier than ever today! Of course being because it was after a holiday.
Our dog has been acting strange as well so I haven't been able to keep my mind off that very well.
My mind is too jumbled to really keep a good straight forward blog so I'm sure most of this makes no sense or has no exciting details!
Anyway, maybe I'll have my head together by tomorrow.

Who Knew?
*****One of the most efficient ways of cleaning your teeth is to chew on a stick.*****
I didn't know! Did you?
Yeah I didn't think so.
So we got word on the offer we made on a house yesterday, they countered with a different price. SO, again, we countered with another price. And we should hear back by tomorrow at 4pm. This little game back and forth is wearing! But if it works out it was meant to be, if it doesn't it wasn't.
I don't think I'll have a day for the next week were I'm home relaxing. I was gone all day today, all day the day before, now tomorrow we'll be leaving for all weekend.
Vacation is better than nothing I guess! :)
My Man of the century cut his hair today! I'll have to get the before and afters up sometime soon. I'm going to miss his long silky smooth hair while it's gone! =(
Well I'm going to get back to pretending I'm actually working. See how well that goes over!
Later days,

RAWR! It's Wednesday!
*****One-fourth of the world's population lives on less than $200 a year Ninety million people survive on less than $75 a year.*****
Today, we went house shopping again. We found some really, really nice homes. Sadly 2 of them were in horrible locations or we would have put offers on the table. I mean they were gorgeous inside, and homey. The outsides were just horrible, neighborhood, surrounding features, etc. Very stressful when that happens.
We did find one that we made an offer on today! We will hear what they think about our offer by tomorrow night. I HOPE they consider us. The house was just so perfect. Exactly what we were looking for and in a great location to boot!
I can't wait for this house shopping to be done though, it's stressful and draining.
(Especially when you don't eat before you go)!
So I'll keep an update of the ins and outs and ups and downs probably!

Sun burnt and loving it!
*****Taft was the last President with facial hair.*****
So this weekend was sooo amazing! I had a blast I can't even explain how amazing it was! Ok, I lied...I can!
Saturday, I slept in, waking occasionally but to only fall asleep again. Finally waking around 11:30am. Around 12 we decided to take the dogs up Rock Canyon for a nice little hike. By the time we got there it was already pretty warm, and the canyon seemed to be packed with rock climbers, joggers, hikers, campers, etc.
We spent the next 2 hours with the dogs hiking up the canyon, letting the dogs play in the water when we saw them getting tired of the sun and dirt. My husband thought it would be smart to jump from one large boulder to another, the other being located in the center of the river, and ended up over shooting it and landing flat on his back seconds later to slide 5 feet into the river below!
It was a site to see! He also decided to climb a cliff face, in which case my Chihuahua decided to follow....the crazy dog made it pretty far! I was amazed...and amused as he didn't know how to get back down! :D
Eventually I noticed the little dog not wanting to walk much more so we turned around and decided to go home. I noticed once home I was pink as the pink flowers on my shirt! That's what summers all about though right?
The best part of the day is I FINALLY got my dirt bike running again! Drained the gas, put new in, kicked a few time and VREEEEEEEEEEENnenenenene. :) Drove it around the block a min. (Not too long since I knew neighbors were probably flipping by the noise of the thing). When I got back I was shaking for over 20 minutes from how excited I was to be riding it again!
I just can't wait to take it out west and give it the run that it deserves!
Once that fun was over, we went to dinner, stuffed our faces. Then ended up stopping at the local AC (Artic Circle) and getting ice cream. To stuff our faces more!
All in all it was a good Saturday, then to spend Sunday just lounging around the house. It felt great! Great time to get my mind off work stress, and world stress.
Anyway, I should be signing up for Fall Semester classes, but I'm way to lazy for that! :)
Maybe I will once this weekend is over, since this weekend is VEGAS BABY!!
See ya'll soon.

Failboat Full Timers
(Before we start I would like to say I'm going to start every blog with a random thing..random fact I guess you should say :) Enjoy).
****Rather than kiss, Samians simply smell each other****
That's what I call you people who like working full time!
You're crazy and I do not support your craziness! I'm full time now and I will tell you this, I work VERY hard to hold in my screams.
Call me lazy, whatever you say will not change my mind. Yes the money is amazing, but seriously people. Lets all just go out and do what we love how about that? (Unrealistic)
Anyway, I'm happy to say that we are becoming way more active these days. Probably because of the great weather, but also probably because of how icky we feel! We took our dogs hiking Wednesday of this week and it was a blast. The best part was watching a 10lb Chihuahua trying to clime up cliff rock. I even tried to stop the little bugger to let him chill but he kept on chuggin! Then my other dog, our Australian Shepherd, good lord he is like a mountain goat. He was climbing up ledges I wouldn't even dare to! It was crazy to watch, I kept calling to him cause I was scared haha. If dogs could talk I'm sure he'd by like the teen who keeps telling their parents to "Chill"!
So tomorrows Plans are to work out in the morning, relax, work on my bike for a while hopefully getting it running. Then later in the afternoon hopefully go for a nice hike again.
I'm stoked.
See ya'll tomorrow!
